Started service as Civil Judge/Judicial Magistrate, 01st Class in the year, 1987 in the State of Madhya Pradesh. Served various places in the State of Madhya Pradesh before its bifurcation as Chattisgarh. Served various places in Chattisgarh as Principal District Judge/Principal Judge, Family Court, Presiding Officer, State Transport Appellate Tribunal Also served in the High Court of Chattisgarh as Additional Registrar (Administration), Registrar (Vigilance) and Registrar General. On 27.06.2017, joined as Puisne Judge in the High Court of Chattisgarh at Bilaspur. On 07.06.2024, relieved as Puisne Judge from the High Court of Chattisgarh at Bilaspur. On 08.06.2024, joined Patna High Court.

Patna High Court is the leading High court in India to Computerise Cause List Management System in 1992. We had also taken initiative in successfully experimenting trial of accused through video-conferencing between civil court and Jails of Bihar in 2001.Since 1992 National Informatics Centre (NIC) is working at Patna High Court for extending ICT Support to this Hon’ble Court.

About Patna High Court
The Judiciary is a distinct and independent arm of Government entrusted with judicial authority, and mandated to administer and deliver justice to the people of India. It plays a fundamental role in the promotion of law and order, human rights, social justice, morality and good governance. The independence of the Judiciary is guaranteed by the constitution in a number of its provisions regarding among others, the appointment, removal, salary and other conditions of service of judicial officers. The core of the Judiciary's independence is the absence of any interference for the Executive or the Legislature in judicial decisions. The mandate of the Judiciary is to establish and facilitate effective and efficient machinery capable of functioning as an adjudicating authority in India and of quickly administering and delivering justice and related services to the people of India. The key function of the Judiciary is therefore, the adjudication of civil and criminal cases. In addition, it interprets the constitution and gives effect to its provisions, as well as providing the expertise in interpreting of the laws. Further, the Judiciary performs other related duties in promotion of human rights, social justice and morality.
